24 Hours at Lumiere 2018
Virtual Tour & VR Experience
Created January 2018
Categories: Outdoor public event night, Events photography, Premium photography example
When the sun went down London completely transformed for five days in January, at Lumiere 2018.
The event featured over 50 installations in and around the capital. They were located at some of the most prestigious visitor attractions, landmarks and areas in London. Think Mayfair, Fitzrovia and the West End - but different things were happening right across Central London.
We spent a whole week trawling the streets capturing images. Our aim was to create a record for potential visitors - to show how big the contrast actually is between night and day once the lights go on!
To take a look around the event in VR you will need to view it using a smartphone and VR headset. Turn your phone into landscape (widescreen) mode and put the phone into a VR headset. You can move between the various areas inside the salon by selecting hotspots using the on screen cross hairs.
